Here we are on the cusp of a new year. Another 365 days to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be. In order to do that you must choose to love yourself. Go ahead and choose you. You won't regret it. <3

Recognizing that I am the watcher of my thoughts was a life changing moment for me. It answered so many questions I had about souls and higher powers.

We aren't just "here" for no particular reason. Every soul that has inhabited earth has had a purpose for being in existence. And that means EVERY soul...good, bad, or indifferent. 

Take a moment and latch on to one of the many thoughts swirling around in your mind. When you have one, ask yourself how you are able to see that thought and all the others that come after that one. Ask yourself why you can see the thought while thinking about thinking about the thought. 

A whole other understanding opens up for you when you recognize that you are much more than the thoughts in your mind. Peace descends on your life when you realize that you are not the thoughts in your head. 

Fear keeps us from delving into the truth. Don't be afraid. Seek answers. You will not be disappointed. <3

In my home I've always strived for "comfy" versus luxury. I want my home to feel like a hug for me and for anyone who enters my space. To accomplish this I "dress" my home to impress me and no one else.

I take the same attitude with my being. It means a lot to me when people feel comfortable in my presence. If they do, it means that I am a safe place for them to just be. 

Its no easy task to find peace with yourself so that others can do the same with their self. They might not even realize that what they are experiencing is peace until they have left your space. It's a feeling that they will start to seek on their own and that is mission accomplished for you.

We aren't here to out do one another. We are here to help one another. Being a place of safety is one of those ways. Are you a safe place for others to just be? <3

I had my first panic (anxiety) attack when I was in my teens. It happened at school and my stepmom picked me up and we went to the emergency room. I was given oxygen.

The word that was used a lot while I was trying to catch my breath was to "breathe". Seems simple enough, but the fear of not being able to breath overrides any sensibilities in the moment. 

My next anxiety attack happened in my 30's and I had another one in my 50's. The difference between these two and the one in my teens was that I understood the necessity of remaining calm and to just breathe.

I taught my son early on in his childhood to just breathe when he was upset. He would do the motions of "smell the flower" and "blow out the candle". Things he and I still do in our adulthood.

Just breathing brings you into the present moment. It allows you to focus on the now. It's important to stay in the now, because now is all there ever is. There is no past and there is no future. There is only ever now. Just breathe. <3

Wrong: "It can't get any better than this!"
Right: "How can it get better than this?"

God, Creator, Universe, Source is always listening to and feeling you. Your words and mood matter a lot.

When you are in the negative feelings very little good can take place. When you are in the positive feelings you are keeping your vibe open for goodness to flow to you. 

We feel negative when we put an expectation on something and it doesn't work out like we wanted it to. We feel positive when we trust that whatever happens does so for reasons that we are not to understand. 

Many variables must line up in perfect harmony for you to receive your destiny. Your part in all of that is to accept, to trust, and to remain in the now. Do those three things and you will never settle. You will live a life of no regrets. <3

As a manager I instilled an "open door policy" with my staff. This means that when they came to my door I'd give them my attention in that moment. This allowed for a trusting relationship and the freedom to have resolution for their inquiry. If my door was slightly ajar it meant I was busy, but that I could be disturbed in emergency situations. If the door was closed it meant that I couldn't be disturbed for the moment. (I rarely had my door ajar or closed).

Setting these boundaries allowed for a stress free workplace. In fact, my transparency about all office dynamics set a tone of peace among the staff. We were able to get along knowing that our workplace was one of mutual respect.

God, Creator, Higher Power, Source also has an open door policy that can be accessed at any time. Where I had to close my office door at times, this door remains open for you to use whenever needed.

If you haven't used this door before, I would encourage you to do so. You will be welcomed. You will find answers. You will find peace. Look for the open door. <3

The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets, Chapter 17 titled Yeshua, has a section that speaks about Christmas. Here is an excerpt:

"​This continuous need to cast doubt in our world is what is causing our mayhem, and those that are doing this are trying to destroy our fellow man. Think about it carefully as you determine your own truth, for where God has given much, the disbelievers have no proof. 

It is purely desperation that is causing so much controversy. Our need for answers has allowed us to take God too lightly. There are those that are trying to force God’s hand with their deceit. They want God to reveal Himself so that they can meet. They have yet to figure out that God holds all the power, and He will meet up with all of us at His appointed hour.

Christmas is a time of year that God judges our actions. Do we honour His son’s birthday, or do we continue with our infractions? How long do you think that God will tolerate our absolute disregard? Closing out each year this way will only make the next one hard. Each new year brings to us more of God’s warning signs and slowly but surely, we are going to see what He wrote between the lines." <3

Getting older doesn't necessarily mean that you get to be wiser. Wisdom is shared with those who want it. It is given to those who have a thirst for understanding the unknown.

I could sit all day at the feet of an elder and listen to the wisdom that they have willingly learned. Accepting life and all of its trials and triumphs is much easier when you understand why each must take place.

No book or internet site will match the energy shared by an elder when they are teaching. Being able to feel their emotions as they impart their knowledge is what they are teaching. The words they share are what hold us close to them as they teach us how to love.

To be able to love oneself is the pinnacle for having the ability to share wisdom. Being able to love one's self becomes the vessel from which wisdom flows. <3

Each of us is given a multitude of opportunities to think differently when a change is imminent. It could be a change that is within your control or not within your control. Either way, you are given fair warning.

How we embrace the inevitable change(s) is dependent on our awareness or unawareness of self. Change has no feelings attached to it until you give it a feeling. Will you resist or will you accept?

Everything that takes place in one's life is done with precision. Many, many, many variables must line up perfectly in a moment for your life to happen. Resisting the variables will bring struggle; embracing the variables will bring understanding.

We are not in control. Control is an illusion. The only thing we get to "control" is our reaction to change(s). It's a choice we get to make every moment of our life. Make those choices count. <3

Did you know that there was a word for the sound you hear when the wind meets a tree?

Why is there wind? The sun heats the earth's surface unevenly, creating areas of high and low pressure. Air always moves from areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure, thereby generating wind. 

Do you ever stop and listen to wind and trees interacting? It's not all one sound. Sometimes it is like hearing a conversation and other times it is like a symphony is playing. If you listen closely enough you can hear nature talking. And sometimes when it is quiet enough you have nothing to hear except your own thoughts. 

The next time the wind in a tree captures your attention, go ahead and give the tree a hug, regardless of where it is. You heard its conversation and your acknowledgment of that will do you a world of good. <3
