Brandon Manitoba was Kim's home for 43 years when her family moved there from Alberta when she was 12 years old. Kim moved to Winnipeg Manitoba in 2023 to be closer to her son.
Kim's thirty year career has been in the administrative field and she purposefully chose positions throughout her career that brought valuable experiences for her to achieve the fulfilling role as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization.
She is an avid volunteer who recognizes that it is up to the citizens of a community to affect change when it’s needed. This philosophy was felt throughout Manitoba while Kim advocated for meaningful resources for those struggling with a substance use disorder.
RJ Streetz Foundation Inc. is a private foundation and was founded in December 2017 by Kim. As its President she utilizes the foundation to address the lack of resources available in the province of Manitoba for person’s struggling with, or wanting to recover from, a substance use disorder. The Foundation was incorporated on January 9, 2018 and is located in Winnipeg MB. It is named for Kim’s 36 year old son Richard (EJA) Longstreet who is currently in recovery from a substance use disorder.
Kim enjoys being in nature and believes in the healing power of meditation, yoga, and prayer. She lives with her cat, Nox,
