For Immediate Release – Co-authoring a book with the divine
BRANDON MB - Community advocate, now published author, Kim Longstreet, is pleased to announce the launch of her first book that she co-wrote with her higher power, titled “The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets”. While the book has many profound elements, the most compelling is that its genre is rare and has her joining a handful of authors in history who are able to write epic poetry.
At the age of six, Kim had her first of many conversations with her higher power. At the age of thirty-six, in a feverish flurry of writing, Kim penned the contents of her book all of which was sent to her divinely. It took another nineteen years before she was told that the time had come to share the book with the literary world.
“I woke up on my thirty-six birthday and God directed me to get a pen and some paper. A year later I had a three-inch binder that was full of my handwritten rhymes shared with me daily from God. As abruptly as the rhymes started, they stopped, and I knew I had achieved something that was destined to be shared with the world” Kim is quoted as saying.
The book comes directly from Kim’s connection to her higher power and is for truth-seekers, spiritual-seekers, and atheists alike. There is something for everyone in this wise and heart-filled book, which will give hope and encouragement to people at this challenging time in our world.
"Now a devoutly religious person, the author writes in both verse and prose about religion and how it helped her (and can help the reader) to overcome adversity and lead a fulfilling life". - Kirkus Reviews
