I am handmaking bookmarks that will be given for free to people who purchase my book.
The design of the bookmark is unique, just like the book for which the bookmark will be used to flag a page. Perfect timing to be making bookmarks as winter is upon us and my hibernation season begins! Can’t wait to start giving the bookmarks away in spring of 2023!

On January 3, 2004 I turned 36 years old. It was a birthday like any other. Mostly just another day taking note of another pass around the sun.
At some point on this day, I felt compelled to get a piece of paper and a pen and write something. The first line of the first rhyme was: “I felt my calling all my life” and launched a year of writing that produced many teaches that I titled “Life’s Holy Rhymes”. The loose leaf on which they were written filled a three inch binder. I didn’t divulge to anyone the full contents of the binder. It went into my closet and sat dormant until 2010 at which time I felt driven to type all the rhymes into my first computer. The typed copy of “Life’s Holy Rhymes” went into a two inch binder and returned to a shelf in my closet. Fast forward 12 years and the same feeling that pushed me to write the book now urged me that it was time to have the book self published. The title for the book came to me in a dream and “The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets” was submitted to FriesenPress for an evaluation of its contents. Feedback received: “This is a well-crafted book full of insightful advice and will appeal to anyone on a spiritual path. There is a great deal of depth to your writing, and I like how you use personal anecdotes about your life and then weave in the spiritual principles and teachings. You are a skilled wordsmith, and your writing is clean and crisp. Rhyming, as you know, is not a simple task, and you have created a large body of work using mostly rhyme, which is an impressive feat!” I cannot wait for this book to be shared with the world. It is worthy of any Top 10 best selling list and I look forward to seeing it there for many weeks in 2023! |
