You always have a choice

Fred Rogers (AKA Mister Rogers) is quoted as saying “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'"

This is something I do when I step into a room full of people. I seek out the helpers before I seek out anyone else. I know that when I locate a helper that I will receive genuine kindness.

Are you are helper? Do you make people feel good by doing nothing except being yourself? You will know you are a helper because people will naturally gravitate to your energy. Are you THAT person that complete strangers will strike up a conversation with you?

We have a choice every single day to be a helper or a hindrance. Which one do you choose to be? <3
