Well worn path

This photo speaks very simply to the well worn paths that we harbour in our mind. We get dependent on the paths to keep our thoughts in order. But from time to time a path isn't working for us anymore, so we have to try a different path and it may get messy along the way.

The journey I've been on to change my thought patterns...my well worn paths, has been both painful and joyous. The pain is the agony of letting go of what is no longer working for me and the joy is opening up that space for what was supposed to be there all along.

Our thoughts have a frequency. Good thoughts will bring good, bad thoughts will bring bad. This concept isn't easily understood unless one assesses their life to date.

As A Man Thinketh by James Allen (Published 1903)
Mind is the master power that molds and makes, and man is mind, and evermore he takes the tool of thought, and shaping what he wills, brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills: - He thinks in secret and it comes to pass: environment is but his looking glass.

As you think, so shall you become. Think you are unworthy, you will receive unworthy. Think you are greatness, you will receive greatness. This is the truth.

The challenge for all of us imperfect humans is to be sincere when asking for greatness. Don't ask with half a heart. Ask with your whole heart. Believe it to be true and it will inevitably come to you.

How many well worn paths do you have in your mind that do not belong there? Time to assess....dismiss what isn't true....introduce what is true...have patience to wait for the results to show up.

Forge a new path today! What have you got to lose? Nothing. What have you got to gain? Everything you've ever wanted! <3
