See your soul

In July 2023 I was supposed to do an interview with Jack Canfield for my book "The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets". Unfortunately, I lost my voice for the entire month of July, so the interview was postponed to September 22nd.

Thankfully, this time we were able to complete the interview! A portion of the interview was a discussion about not feeling guilty for loving one's self. It is not selfish to want to put your soul first in order to be ready to assist other soul's when needed. 

Through no fault of our own I'd say the mass majority of people were raised to put other's needs before their own. I absolutely understand the importance of regarding each other's soul, but not to the detriment of your own soul. 

The kindest thing your can do for other people, is to take care of yourself first. When you take the time to do this you will present a more peaceful person to the world. When you are peaceful, you can make others feel the same. 

We are a loving species. It's actually what we want to do. It's what we are meant to do. All that negativity and ugliness that is in the way can end, if we choose to end it. We do have that much power as a species. <3
