Say it

If you are like me you've probably, from time to time, taken those you love for granted. You got comfortable thinking that they were always going to be there for you. 

Maybe while you were taking them for granted you weren't always very kind to them. Maybe they received the worst of you that you wouldn't show others who know you. Maybe they tried their best to be just right for you, but it wasn't enough.

I often wonder why it is that we feel we can treat our loved ones less than we'd treat our employer. Why does the employer get the "kind" you and your loved ones get the "unkind" you? Why do we think its okay to treat those we love with a harshness that we wouldn't give to a stranger on the street?

If you have been negligent about telling those you love that you are thankful for them, get on it! Live a life of no regrets. <3
