Pick your battles

You know that feeling you have when you feel you are right, but it takes effort to feel that way? Like you have to force yourself to feel that way. Chances are you aren't right, you are being stubborn. 

Doing the right thing should never feel forced, it should flow from you without thought. When that is the feeling you have, you know you've picked the right "battle". 

So often in life, we grind in and refuse to let go or see things another way and valuable time is wasted. Time that could be spent feeling good about one's self. 

There are two for sure things in life...what you can "control" and what you cannot control. How you think is in your control. The outcomes of any situation are not in your control. Wisdom is understanding that having "control" of anything other than your own thoughts is an illusion. 

So, instead of expounding valuable energy on battles that you can't win...use the energy for a battle that you can win...owning your thoughts and using them for the good of others and yourself. <3
