This is such a great excerpt from J.R.R. Tolkien, author of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

He is reminding us that things are not always as they appear to be and to never discount anyone from being able to achieve extraordinary things.

"From the ashes a fire will be woken" is profound because ashes can conceal a tiny ember that only needs the breath of life to make it glow and to ignite a flame for a roaring fire to be had.

This is us humans. We have such an ember inside of us, it is called a soul. With the right kind of love and attention it can ignite and become the beacon that leads you to your purpose.

We are not here to just be here. Our purpose is to ignite our soul and then help others to ignite their soul causing a wild fire of love to sweep over the earth. It isn't fantasy, it is truth and it is possible.

We are all born with a glittering heart of gold which cannot be seen by others. Life has a way of layering us with "stuff" which dims our heart, but doesn't diminish the fact that it is still golden. "All that is gold does not glitter".

Find your ember (your soul), give it the love and attention of which it is deserving, and then watch how it makes your golden heart glitter again. <3
