Patience is acceptance

Having patience is my least favourite virtue. I've come to understand that my impatience is self-inflicted because I tend to think I know what is for the best. AND because I am this delusional I impose suffering where it doesn't need to be.

​What is lost on many of us is the astronomical amount of variables that must line up perfectly for our goals and dreams to transpire. Your wants will require changes to take place all over the place. This means that other beings will win and lose because of your desires. The same way you win and lose because of other beings desires.

​This is why its important to be sure about the path you are choosing. Accept that what you want won't just materialize. Realize that it is your patience that makes a thing happen. And most importantly, feel gratitude when you receive your goals and dreams as they come to you. Especially when they aren't exactly what you thought they'd be. <3
