Path of least resistance

It is a very liberating moment when you realize who you never were and become who you were supposed to be.

For the first 34 years of my life I went along with what other imperfect humans said to me about me. For the past 21 years I've been unravelling all of the stuff & junk and replacing it with my own values.

The discontent I felt, and others felt from me, has everything to do with me resisting my calling for fear of looking like I'd lost my mind.

To be honest, I had to lose my mind (my ego) in order to live freely. Everyone has an ego. It roars in one's mind all day everyday. What few of us know is that the ego has an off switch. It shuts off when you realize that you can master your mind (your ego).

Want a life of grace, ease, and lightness? Turn off your ego and listen for the whisper of your soul that was drowned out this whole time. Sounds simple enough, but it is not, and is why souls live in the shadow of the ego. 

I'm grateful everyday that I can hear my soul's whisper. <3
