Listen

It is never just you against the world. It may feel like that sometimes, but that is not true.

You have an ego and you have a soul. Both of these give you messages every moment of every day. Which ever one you choose to listen to will determine your life's path.

Listening to the ego will always find you trying to one up yourself and others. Listening to your soul will find you taking the path of least resistance. 

The thing is, the ego roars and the soul whispers. You have to work extra hard to hear what the soul has to say. Many don't want to do this work and will listen instead to the roar of the ego. The roar usually takes us on a path to nowhere and we fall into the pit of anxiety.

The soul on the other hand forces us to slow down and listen. When we do that we can hear an alternative to what the ego roars. More often than not the soul leads you directly to where you are meant to be and there is peace to be found there.
