Life isn't easy

Even if you live your life everyday with pure intentions, you are still going to face hardships. Being a good person doesn't mean that you get a pass, but it does mean that the negative blips will be short lived. 

Karmic energy must do its thing to ensure that balance is kept. Do good, get good. Do bad, get bad. 

Good meaning...service to others. 
Bad meaning...service to yourself.

This is not to say that you shouldn't care for yourself, because you ARE worthy of personal care. What this means is that if you allow ego to dictate your life, you are most likely going to have many rough patches. if you allow your soul to lead you, you are most likely going to have very few rough patches.

We lose belief in our self when we allow things that are on our external to influence us. Friends, family, non acquaintances, media, internet, books...you get the idea. All these things only have one way into you and that is through your six senses. YOU ultimately get to decide what you want to have floating around in your mind.

If you lose belief in yourself its because you need to unload a whole pile of stuff that doesn't belong in your mind. You need to sift through the dung and find your soul. Life gets much much easier when you accept your soul, which to many is as elusive as a unicorn. <3
