How can it get better than this?

It truly is an art to be able to balance humbleness (soul) and arrogance (ego). We all have both of these and the struggle to understand their roles is real.

When something really great happens we feel/think/say..."it can't get any better than this". By doing that, we have just locked ourselves into believing that this/it is all there can be. 

We've been taught that to want more is greed and to accept less is humbleness. The key word in that sentence is taught. Someone or something planted every seed that you have in your mind and left you to be the untrained gardener reaping what has been sowed. Inevitably you alone are responsible for how you manage the bounty or the weeds produced in your mind's garden.

An ego produces weeds - impure intentions.
A soul produces bounty - pure intentions.
Whichever one you trust more will determine: how can it get better than this?.

There is no past. There is no future. There is only this moment while you read this. A soul understands that thinking/being/doing pure intentions and staying in the moment will always bring better to those who know they are worthy of better. <3
