Holding on and letting go

Desperately trying to hold on to anything means that it is finished. Whatever it is, has served its purpose and it is time to let it go. This applies to feelings, a person, and material objects. We fear letting go of familiarity and having to embrace the temporary discomfort of growing into the unknown.

All things exist in your life because you want them to exist, good and bad. Your thoughts are your reality. Think good, get good. Think bad, get bad. This is why you think you see good things happening to "bad" people and bad things happening to "good" people. You are assuming rather than knowing.

Buried under all that stuff you think you know, is the truth of what you do not know, and its a lot. We think what we think, because it was taught to us. Sometimes we can change our own mind when we accept an aha moment, but mostly we stay with what someone else has taught us to think. We do this because we have not discovered the power of the mind; or it has been discovered and the fear of letting go, that you think you feel, keeps you desperately holding on.

If you are fulfilled and have zero longing for someone or something else, remain where you are. You are bringing love and joy into the world by being true to yourself. If you are unfulfilled and have a feeling like this isn't it for me, move on to what you truly want, because staying as you are is bringing misery into the world.

All the people and stuff you have in your life are there because you want them to be there. You are responsible for the energy you are putting out into the world which affects everyone else. You should live your life everyday with good vibes, as if everyone depends on you to do so, because we do. <3
