Fear is an illusion

Did you know that fear is not real? It literally is all in your mind. 

I like to use this simple example of how our mind controls us. There is no boogey man under your bed or in your closet, but for some reason your mind thinks there is. Your mind has had an experience that has made it believe that something is there. And because you think you cannot control your mind, you are forced to contend with an imaginary "boogey man".

From "As A Man Thinketh" by James Allen (1903): "The soul attracts that which it secretly harbors; that which it loves, and also that which it fears; it reaches the height of its cherished aspirations; it falls to the level of its unchastened desires - and circumstances are the means by which the soul receives its own."

When you allow fear to shape your path, your purpose cannot be seen. You will move aimlessly through life, knowing there is more, but are too afraid to get there. Stop and ask yourself where the fear is coming from. 

Your mind is a powerful thing, use it to get what you want in life. That's why you have it in the first place. <3
