Do the right thing

Yesterday I found myself in a situation where a vulnerable person was being treated unfairly by people with authority. This was done around other vulnerable people who were too afraid to say anything.

Instead of becoming angry I became the voice for the voiceless. I ensured that the woman felt she was worthy of the care she was seeking. My quiet indigence caused the staff to rethink how they were interacting with this woman. 

At no time should anyone stand by and watch another being get treated with disregard. It is perfectly fine to bring peace to the moment. It is perfectly fine to let another being know that you see them. Just do it. <3
