Did you wake up today?

The feeling of gratitude doesn't come easily, especially when nothing seems to be going your way. 

For me, just opening my eyes in the morning and knowing I have another moment to figure things out, fills me with gratitude.

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is no where in sight. All there ever is is the present moment and what I allow to exist in it. There is no past. There is no future. There is only now.

Coming to this understanding alleviates a whole pile of stress that you do not need to be carrying around. Coming to that understanding brings you the realization that the only thing you can control is your thoughts. Coming to both of those understanding allows you to focus on "figuring life out", because that is what its actually all about. Knowing that you had the power all along to live the life you want to live.

If you woke up today, you've been given another opportunity to figure life out and in that regard you are doing better than you think. <3
