At a glance

So often in life we glance at something and our mind decides what it is for us. But when we take a second glance our mind will change itself to accept the reality of what we saw.

All the more reason to not make snap judgements. Your subconscious mind has a tendency to jump to conclusions making your conscious mind believe that what it is sharing is correct.

Those beliefs are limiting...that is why they are called "limiting beliefs". They hinder us from moving forward in life. We're all holding on to untruths that our stubborn ego won't let go of because - no one likes to be wrong.

If you feel icky about something that you are harbouring that causes you to feel hateful...that's a limiting belief. By our very nature, humans love, not hate. We've been taught to be all judgey and mean. We're definitely not born like that.

You saw lips and then you saw a leaf. How many times in a day do you realize that what you thought at first wasn't actually correct? Try to give yourself grace when you take the second glance and understand that in life "it" is never what it appears to be. <3
