Acceptance

Patience was not my best virtue. My younger self believed that if I did all the right things then life would go my way. My older self knows that all things happen exactly as they are supposed to and no amount of wishing will change that.

When you stop and think about all the intricacies that must happen second to second for you to be alive, it is actually quite fascinating.

No one goes it alone here. Whether you are a hermit in the woods or a self made billionaire, you will always need a life other than yours in order to live. The hermit needs the deer for food. The billionaire needs someone to manufacture his food. 

Your life literally depends on other lives in order to remain alive. When you drill it down to this understanding, then you will have acceptance. 

Stay in the now because that is all there ever will be. Accept that where you are at is needed for a whole host of reasons that you will never get to know. Find peace in that. <3
