Trust yourself

I, like most people, get huge anxiety while driving through fog where I can't see what's coming at me from all directions. For me its also the claustrophobic feeling of being in a small enclosed space with the unknowns.

Reflecting on that feeling and my feelings while walking my path of spiritual awakening, I can see the similarities. Discovering my soul wasn't done on a well lit path with signs pointing me in the right direction. Discovering my soul took faith and trust that whatever was on the other side of the "fog" was exactly where I was meant to be.

Learning to trust myself was the hardest step that I had to take. Unlearning a whole pile of stuff that wasn't mine to carry was grueling. Understanding that a force much powerful than me was guiding my steps meant I had to learn to have faith. All of this took time and the belief that I was worthy to be the being that I wanted to be. 

Go ahead, take that first shaky step of self-discovery. You will not regret it. <3
