There is no past

When I say "there is no past" I get a head tilt from people trying to grasp what I mean by that. They tell me that there has to be a past because we have pyramids, dinosaur bones, and other "old" visible things. I can't dispute that our eyes can see the past.

But the question is, where can I see YOUR past? That is when the lightbulb usually goes on. We cannot see each others past. The past that is your life is only in your mind. You keep your past alive. No one else does.

So if there is no past, and there definitely is no future, the only thing that exists is now. And because we can only exist in the now you get to live the life YOU want to live, not what your "past" dictates. You are not your past. You are your now, so go ahead and live life like you are. <3
