Shine!

It is not selfish to care for yourself. It is not selfish to care for yourself before you care for others. Your life is as valuable as the next person's. Treat it like that.

Dimming your light for the sake of others is a slow death of your soul. It's okay if your light is meant to shine a bit brighter than others. You are each on your own path. Some paths are dark, some are dimly lit, and some are bright. The light is coming from the person walking the path. We aren't on the same path as each other and therefore our light shines differently as we allow our soul to grow.
