Pain is necessary

Why do some lessons in life have to be so painful?! Wouldn't it be better if we came already equipped to deal with life's struggles? I suppose so, but then we'd be robots and wouldn't have free will. 

Even though there are societies that keep their people in check by not allowing them to use their free will, the fact of the matter is is that they do have free will. They are too afraid to use it. It's called brainwashing. Brainwashing is said to reduce its subject's ability to think critically or independently, to allow the introduction of new, unwanted thoughts and ideas into their minds, as well as to change their attitudes, values, and beliefs.

When we are allowed to think freely we get to experience all the ups and downs of life. We receive wounds from which we earn wisdom. Our free will has allowed us to experience life and that, after all, is why we are here to begin with. <3
