Not Your People

I've tried really hard throughout my life to have uninspired conversations with people. The silence was deafening when I realized that I'm not interested in uninformed chats. If we converse, it has to be meaningful or I'm moving along.

People call it being stuck up when you don't want to engage. I call it protecting myself from having to participate in unnecessary chit chat. 

Now, get me in a room with people who are on the same wave length (frequency) as me and I could listen and converse for hours. These are my people. They understand me. They get me. This is my comfort zone. 

Find your people and you will always have a place to belong. <3
