Less is more

Technology has taken away the quietness of day to day life. By this I mean, the ability to just keep to one's self without worry of interruption.

We've become a society of having to be "on" all the time. To respond or not respond to the various means of communicating is a way of ranking peoples importance in your life. It's annoying, right?

Growing up we had a phone connected to a wall. It rang and you answered it not knowing who was on the other end. If you wanted people to know you weren't home, you had an answering machine. Simpler times.

With this need for instance responses we say and do things without thought. This causes a feeling of unrest. Maybe you don't need to respond so quickly. Maybe you could set some boundaries for access to you. Maybe you could say less and think more. <3
