Growth needs struggle

If you’ve never watched a caterpillar turn into a butterfly, I urge you to do so. It’s nothing short of a miracle. Nature is a fascinating creation from a higher power, there is no other way to explain it. 

We ourselves are a species who are supposed to be more evolved than the rest of the species. I often wonder who is actually more evolved. But that is a story for another day. 

The need to struggle to become who we’re meant to be is imperative. To have it “easy” takes away the gratitude that comes with personal growth. No one gets through this life without lumps and bumps along the way. How you manage each teaching will determine the length of time that growth is needed. Some learn quickly and others will repeat their error until the lesson is understood. 

There is no sense struggling against the inevitable. Like the caterpillar, you need to accept that growth requires struggle. <3
