Are you driven by ego, or, are you driven by soul? How would you know which one is which?

Ego is impulsive. Ego reacts to thoughts that the mind makes up. Ego enjoys chaos. Ego wants to be right. 

Soul has patience. Soul is thoughtful and doesn't react to made up thoughts. Soul seeks peace. Soul knows that being right is impossible.

Do you want to be right or do you want peace?

When you are lying in your bed at night, away from all the distractions of life, you aren't right or wrong, you just are. You want to be right around others, but when its just you, you are not right or wrong, you just are. 

Understanding this allows you focus on just being. You've got nothing to prove to anyone else, but you have everything to prove to yourself. That's where you need to focus. <3
