Ego=made up thoughts

Nothing good comes from listening to your ego. It only cares about the feeling of importance it receives by your made up thoughts. (Read that again).

Our mind churns out thousands of thoughts in a day. Some of them are heard by you, the watcher of the thoughts, and some slide right on by. The thoughts that your mind fixates on are determined by you, the watcher of the thoughts. You can choose to engage or ignore at any time you want. You hold the key to the prison that is your mind.

I've learned the art of shutting off the ego and to instead only allow the thoughts I want. This isn't an easy task because of all the fear instilled in me throughout my life. Fear holds us down, but the truth of the matter is is that fear is not real, it is made up. Fear can only exist in your mind. It doesn't exist anywhere else. You are able to end the fear anytime you want. You are able to leave the prison that is your mind anytime you want. <3
