Be right or have peace

I've been known to belabour a point longer than it needs to be to satisfy my ego. The thing is though, the satisfaction I was looking for to be right is bittersweet. In order to be right I had to wear someone else down. I had to prove them wrong. They had to lose and I had to win. Yikes!

Nothing good comes out of leaving someone worse than when you walked up to them. You may have "won" that moment, but you lost at being a human. You lost out on a moment to grow as a human being. 

You have to choose your moments carefully in life. Sometimes it is best to concede and give the "win" to someone else. They can deal with the fallout of trying to diminish another soul and you can walk away knowing that life will take care of itself. More importantly you haven't taken on more karmic energy that will have to be balanced out at some point. Keep your power and use it for the good things you want in life. <3
