Excerpt from "As A Man Thinketh" by James Allen (1903):

Man is a growth by law and not a creation by artifice, and cause and effect are as absolute and undeviating in the hidden realm of thought as in the world of visible and material things. A noble and Godlike character is not a thing of favor or chance, but it is the natural result of continued effort in right thinking, the effect of long cherished association with Godlike thoughts. An ignoble and bestial character, by the same process, is the result of the continued harbouring of groveling thoughts.

Man is made or unmade by himself; in the armory of thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself; he also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace. By the right choice and true application of thought, man ascends to the Divine Perfection; by the abuse and wrong application of thought he descends below the level of the beast. Between these two extremes are all the grades of character, and man is their maker and master.

Of all the beautiful truths pertaining to the soul which have been restored and brought to the light in this age, none is more gladdening or fruitful of divine promise and confidence than this - that man is the master of thought, the moulder of character, and the maker and shaper of condition, environment, and destiny.

As a being of power, intelligence, and love, and the lord of his own thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and contains with himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills.

While reading "The New Earth" by Eckart Tolle, I felt for the very first time like someone understood me. The realization that I wasn't alone and there was others like me out there allowed me to have peace of mind.

For the first time I was able to articulate who my ego was and who my soul was. My soul is the watcher of my ego. It was a mind blowing experience the first time this aha moment happened. 

When you are having a thought, how is it possible for you to know that you are having the thought? Your thoughts are generated by your ego. Your soul is the awareness of these thoughts. 

Your ego is vane. Your soul is wholesome. It's a real battle everyday of which one gets to rise up in any situation. If its your ego, you will usually feel heaviness and if its your soul you will feel "right". 

The soul brings growth. The ego prefers status quo. Which one feels right to you? <3

Kindness: the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

Do you feel sometimes like kindness has become a lost art? It's like we are too afraid to interact with one another anymore. Heads down or eyes front when we are out and about. 

I miss those days when eyes would meet and a smile would pass between two strangers. It was a simple "everything is going to be okay" smile from someone else that made all the difference in the world. What happened to that?

We need each other. Be kind to one another. Give a smile to someone, just because. <3

There is nothing more beautiful on or around this planet than God's artwork. We see it when we look in the mirror and when we see it when look at the stars. 

God doesn't make mistakes. What you see around you isn't a haphazard painting, its genius. Everything fits just right.

The thing that taints the free artwork is us humans with OUR imperfections. We are the ones who don't fully appreciate what is offered to us as a safe place to be. We bring ugliness to our home.

God's artwork continues regardless of the nonsense that us humans endure. I think it is so that we keep some sort of hope alive that its going to be okay. He's got this. 

Stop. Look. See. Feel. Be. There is beauty in everything if you will just look for it. <3

I had a dream last night that I was talking to someone about the word "God" and what it means.

God is man made. By this I mean that a word was chosen to encompass all that is wonderous and unexplainable. Like for instance, why are we here in this vast universe floating around on a perfectly round ball? Mind boggling and somewhat fearful if you are not factoring in the work of God.

We are all energy and when our energy is no longer needed on earth we go back to the source of the energy - God, Universe, Creator, Higher Power - whatever name works for you.

For this to be understood one must let go of untruths and have faith that we each have a purpose for being here. When you have fulfilled your mission and you are no longer needed, your energy will be taken back by source. 

This is hard to fathom, especially when someone at any age leaves unexpectedly. We mourn the loss of them without realizing that they are okay with their exit from us. 

Faith is trusting that all things will work out exactly as they are supposed to...good and bad. It's the only way that karmic balance can be kept on this round ball we call home. <3

I am love.
I am thankful.
I am fun.
I am proud.
I am hopeful. 
I am abundance.
I am joy.
I am triumphant.
I am wise. 
I am peace. 
I am welcoming.
I am a manifester.
I am glad. 
I am watchful for signs.
I am chosen.
I am worthy.

I woke up today so therefore it is a good day.

What is getting my energy today? Will I make a difference for myself or someone else? Will someone else make a difference for me?

Each day is liking opening a gift. You have no idea what is behind the lovely wrapping and how you react will make all the difference to you and the gift giver. Open the gift with zero expectation and you will not be disappointed with what is inside. 

Feel and show gratitude for each day you are given. Be in the moment. Live life with pure intentions. Just be. <3

Smell the flower.
Blow out the candle.

Imagine how it feels to smell a fragrant flower. 
Imagine the joy of blowing out your birthday candles.

​Now do this physically every time you are in a situation where you're holding your breath, have your jaw clenched, and your shoulders are tucked up towards your ears. (It's more often than you know).
