My book "The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets" talks a lot about free will and the many opportunities we get in life to be able to hear our soul's whisper. Not just hear it, but listen to it. Not just listen to it, but to do what it knows is the right decision.

We've all come up to that just turned red light and have been faced with making a split second decision to stop or speed up to avoid sitting at the red light. You are given choice A or choice B.

We've all been in line at the grocery store feeling awkwardly impatient because the embarrassed person ahead of us can't get their banking card to work. You are given choice A or choice B.

We've all been in a workplace where we gossip about others without regard for the feelings of the person we are hurting with our words. You are given choice A or choice B. 

These are just a few examples of very minor choices we are presented with each day. ALL choices in life are presented with only an A or a B decision for how you are to manage the situation.
A. Do the right thing = Your soul is guiding you.
B. Do the wrong thing = Your ego is guiding you.

Free will guided by ego allows us to run the red and cause an accident. Free will guided by ego allows us to make the stranger at the check out feel bad about themselves. Free will guided by ego allows us to believe that our gossiping is okay if the target doesn't know we did it. 

Free will guided by our soul allows us to stop at the red to avoid an accident. Free will guided by our soul allows us to give a smile to the stranger at the check out and say "no worries, we've all had this happen". Free will guided by our soul allows us to tell the person who is gossiping that you aren't interested in causing hurt to others. 

Your soul is saved when you do all things with pure intentions. Not half-hearted pure intentions, but genuine pure intentions. This means that you do not purposely or purposefully hurt another soul by your actions. Choice B made by ego doesn't care about the ripple effects of their negativity and how it affects them, those they love, those that love those that they love, and so on and so on. 

You save your soul when showing love to another soul is the only option you give yourself. When you have found your soul, you will want to protect it. When you have found your soul, it will become important for you to help others to find theirs. This is done by selecting choice A. Always select choice A. 

The well know fable about the three monkeys who teach us to hear speak see no evil has a reverse side that teaches us to hear speak see the evil and do the right thing about it.

There are no names of people in my book "The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets". I use terms like father, mother, brother, sister, son, and friend. There are no details of the abuses I endured throughout my childhood. It's enough to know that they occurred. There are no details about my struggles as an adult to accept my soul. The book in its entirety gives hope to others that they too can find their soul.

What is shared in the book is wisdom that was provided to me from my higher power. It would defeat the purpose of the book if it was written to cause you more trauma. The book is meant to give hope and to inspire the search for one's soul. 

The really fascinating thing about the book is the genre in which it is written. The genre is unique and can't be found anywhere in the literary world. Chapter 1 all the way to Chapter 37 (280 pages) are written as a continuous rhyme. While rhyming, it tells the story of my life and my relationship with God. It gives wisdom throughout the rhymes that is shared lovingly. It is written  with clear and easy to understand wisdom.

When I was six years old I was told by God to trust Him and I would learn what it was for. What I know for sure is that God doesn't cause the mayhem we see in our lives and around us. We do that with our free will. God doesn't hurt. We do that with our free will. God didn't bring our planet to the state it is in. We did that with our free will. 

Change will happen when we collectively take that same free will and use it for what its intended purpose was meant for. I can tell you definitively that it was not meant to be used to cause each other to hurt. The hurt passed along from generation to generation is what is destroying us. 

Be kind to yourself. Be kind to one another. Find your soul so you can be the change we need to see in the world.

I know without a shadow of a doubt that the book will generate revenue in the millions of dollars that will allow me to function RJ Streetz Foundation Inc. and RJ Streetz Haven.  

How can I be so matter of fact about that? Faith. There is no doubt in my mind that God would bring me this far to not have the outcome that He wants to see. The outcome isn't for my personal benefit. The outcome is for the benefit of humanity. 

I have heard my calling all of my life. Many will debate my conversation that I had with God when I was six years old and I'm fine with that. There is no one on this planet that can deter me from what I know to be the truth. That moment has led to this moment which is happening because I listened. 

Those who have found their soul are going to understand why I have been blessed. Those who have not found their soul are going to question "why her". The question they should be asking themselves is "why not her" and then do the work on their soul to understand why they should feel positive and not negative about another soul's journey. I hope they take the time to understand so they too can receive blessings from heaven. 

Be kind to yourself. Be kind to one another. 

"You're so matter of fact". This is typically the response I get when I explain divine intervention or anything to do with finding one's soul. When you speak the truth, it will come off as fact. I have no reason to say anything other than the truth. 

I view everyone as having a soul and that soul is either lost or found. A found soul will guide you  without ego; a lost soul has no choice but to guide you with ego.

We are given insurmountable amounts of divine intervention everyday. For example:
Will you purposely treat another person harshly because you think you can? 
Will you leave someone feeling better than when you walked up to them because you think you can? 
Two moments of divine intervention. One opportunity will be met by a lost soul and the other opportunity will be met by a found soul. Which soul are you? 

Every moment that you are given an opportunity to listen to your soul's wisdom is divine intervention. When you have found your soul you will never do anything on purpose to hurt another soul. When you have found your soul it becomes very important to you for others to find their soul. This cannot be done by purposely or purposefully hurting another soul. 

Divine intervention means you are given chances to be a better being. Squandering or seizing those chances will determine your soul's peace or disarray. 

Search for your soul. It's that whisper inside you that leads you to peace. Once you have found your soul, you will want others to find theirs too. Did I mention that you are divine intervention? <3

Why is it important to have/feel gratitude?

I live my life with the understanding that there is no past, there is no future, there is only now. By doing this I can be in the now and have/feel gratitude for my life's journey in the moment. When you can view your life this way you can, without bias, have gratitude. Having gratitude brings you peace. Peace brings you gratitude. And living in this continuum brings you what you desire in life. 

In a very short amount of time, after almost 20 years, "The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets" will make its way into the literary world. There is no other word that can describe how I feel about this than - gratitude. 

In 2004 on my thirty-sixth birthday I was told-asked-prompted by God to pick up a pen and write. A year later I had a three ring binder full of handwritten rhymes. I put them away. A few years after that I typed the rhymes into another binder. I put it away. In 2022 I was told-asked-prompted by God that it was time to publish the rhymes into a book. 

The wisdom in the rhymes is profound and the way the rhymes are written is profound. The fact that it took almost 20 years for the rhymes to be shared is profound. The fact that I was given the mission to share the rhymes is profound. The aftereffect felt by others from sharing the rhymes will be profound. 

Instead of living your now with thoughts of "why me", live your now with the thought "why not me" and you will learn to find the balance that your mind, body, and soul desire. 

I knew at eight years old that I wanted to be a secretary when I grew up. 

My brother and I found ourselves in a child welfare office around 1976. The reasons for being there can still conjure up feelings of despair all these years later. While we waited in the front office the secretary working there asked me if I wanted to type on her typewriter. She was so kind to us. I can still remember her pink suit that had white trim on it. 

When I decided to select a career path in my mid 20's, I chose "Secretarial Studies". As my career evolved, society changed the title of secretary to something else like Administrative Assistant. Regardless of the title, I wasn't meant to remain in that role. Over my 30 year career in the administration field I gained mega experience from various positions that accumulated into my role as an Executive Director. 

Reflecting back now, I can follow the chain of events that were required for me to have the knowledge I need to now function RJ Streetz Foundation Inc. and the facility that will one day be RJ Streetz Haven. It had to start with being a secretary. 

Fate or destiny? I'll let you decide that for yourself. 

Harmony: internal calm

​The calmness that comes from recognizing your soul brings peace to your life. It doesn't mean you are free from what life throws at you. That's not how it works. What you ARE able to do is accept that whatever is testing you will pass in time whether it is good or bad. 

All things in life happen with purpose. The outcomes of those happenings aren't known to us because that would find us avoiding or anticipating what hasn't transpired yet. Life isn't meant to be lived like that. You are not meant to be in the know. You are meant to be in the now. 

A shift is happening in our evolution as imperfect human beings. We are coming into a time of knowing full well the difference between right and wrong treatment of one another.

Right = doing all things with pure intentions.
Wrong = purposely/purposefully bringing hurt/harm to anyone or anything.  
It truly is as simple as that.

My book "The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets" speaks to how our combined willy nilly use of free will has brought our time on this earth to this point. There IS hope for us yet. <3  :-)

I haven't watched the Oscar's for quite some time. When I watched in the past it wasn't to see who wins, but to instead have that moment of "I wish I could be them for just one day". If we are honest with ourselves we know we've all done that.

This morning, this is the buzz on social media that caught my attention. An exchange between Hugh Grant and Ashley Graham. Some say it was rude. Some say it was called for. He said to her in a flippant tone: "All of humanity is here. It's vanity fair". 

His jab at the industry that he has gained fame from is to me the beginning of what many in that class of people will start doing over the next while. The same will take place with athletes that receive excess amounts of money for their skills. We treat them like animals in a zoo. Caged for our entertainment. 

As more and more people accept that our purpose here is to find our soul and then help others to find theirs, the spotlight on vanity will grow dimmer. May I ask why we need filters to make us look glamourous or look like a teenager? To distract us from what we are supposed to be doing?

We aren't giving our own life a decent chance. When the "others" go home after the red carpet or their sport event, they are an imperfect human, just like you and me. The difference is that they get to be an imperfect human with fame as an added ball and chain for our amusement. 

I see a weariness happening by those that watch the famous and those that are being watched. Truthfully, it is an inevitable part of us evolving into what we're actually here for. I'm happy that I get to witness it!   :-)  <3

How does it feel to know that you are fulfilling your calling; your purpose? 

Freedom - from the shackles of your humanness.
Peace - from accepting that you are an imperfect being.
Faith - from trusting in a higher power that does not make mistakes.
Honesty - from being true to your soul above all else.
Fear - that you are the only one fulfilling your purpose.

That last one is the most important of all of them. Sometimes I feel like I'm carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. It's a daunting task to finding one's soul knowing that by doing so your purpose will be to help others find their soul. Thankfully, there are many imperfect human beings who have been able to recognize their soul and are helping others to do the same. 

When you have recognized your soul there is nothing that you won't do to protect it. Finding your soul means that you avoid at all costs purposely or purposefully hurting another soul. Helping others to come to that realization becomes your calling; your purpose. 

Why is it important for us to recognize our soul now more than ever? Time is no longer on our side. Not that it ever was. In my book "The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets", chapter 18, "Fire & Brimstone" I speak about the outcome of not finding your soul. Even the most hardened atheist will take a pause after reading the last sentence of that chapter. 

Find your soul. Help other imperfect beings to find theirs. You will have then fulfilled your calling; your purpose. 

Did you know that there are over 400,000 flowering plant species across the world? Unless I studied up on them, there is no way that I am ever going to come in contact with them. That makes me feel sad in a way. Why have so many flowers here that we can't enjoy?

It has occurred to me that we aren't meant to enjoy all the flowers, just the ones that we come in contact with where we reside or visit. It would take away the wonderment of seeing new flowers if we knew them all at one time. 

Life is like that. The wonderment of it would be taken away if we were to know the outcome. 

When people ask me, "if there is a God, who created him/her/it?" I always have my answer ready. "Our human minds cannot fathom the answer to that question, which is why it is not shared with us." Some think that is a cop out, but it is the truth. 

We have a "normal" that we wake up to everyday. The hustle and bustle of life. It's the closest thing we have to reality so we live it to the best of our human ability. 

Our soul knows the other side to what we perceive as normal. Which is why many aren't willing to find their soul. The fear that our normal isn't all there is holds people back from fulfilling their life purpose, which is to find your soul and then help others to find theirs. 

Doesn't sound like too tall of an order, right? Well, yes it can be a daunting task because seeking out one's soul requires having faith / trust in a higher power. Then comes doing work that is required to connect with that higher power. It's not as easy as it sounds.

Try this today. Recognize that you are not the noise inside your head. You are the watcher of the noise inside your head. You've just completed step one to finding your soul. :-)
